The short version
VAVEhub is a free, non-commercial learning site. We store the minimum needed to run your account and course progress, we never sell or share your data, there is no advertising, and you can delete everything by emailing us.
What we store, and why
- Account details — your name and email address, so you can sign in and your certificate can carry your name. Stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in the EU — West EU, Ireland).
- Course progress — which modules you've completed, quiz results, points and exam outcomes, so your learning syncs across devices.
- Certificates — certificate ID, your name, score and issue date. Certificate records are publicly checkable by ID on the verification page; that is what makes your credential verifiable to employers.
- On your device only — preferences such as theme, voiceover settings and reading progress are kept in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Emails
We send you email only for authentication: the 6-digit sign-in and verification codes you request. No marketing email is sent unless you separately subscribe to a newsletter, and any newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
What we don't do
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data with third parties
- No advertising or advertising trackers
- No profiling or automated decision-making
Service providers
Your data is processed by Supabase (database & authentication, EU region), our transactional email provider (delivery of sign-in codes), and GitHub Pages (website hosting). Each acts only on our instructions to provide the service.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or permanently delete your account and all associated data (progress and certificates included). Email bhosale.avinash546@gmail.com from your registered address and we'll action it within 30 days. If you are in the UK/EU you also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
